Naturama the Drama of the New Millennium
Naturama is drama with a global perspective, encompassing the highest mountains to the deepest oceans as a backdrop to drama. It explores nature and human nature on a vast and inspiringly expansive scale.
It could be the backdrop of a dark night on a lonely road in the Scottish Highlands
or a black hole in spaceA cyclorama scene may be of the Italian Alps or the Australian Great Barrier Reef
Scenery may be of cascading plants dripping down the white walls
of a Spanish villa or a forest of giant sequoia trees in CaliforniaSets may be of the interior of an African hut during a drought,
or a rain forest after a monsoonThe apron of a stage can transform into the jetty of a Greek fishing village
or the edge of the HimalayasProps can be a stick of rock from an English holiday resort

Then there are sound effects like the distinctive sound of the chattering temple monkeys in India or the haunting cries of whales deep in the Atlantic ocean. Kookaburras to bats, bees in an English garden to a cockerel on a Welsh farm; the whirring wings of the Hummingbird to the heavy flap of the golden eagle. The choice is endless, just as it is with human made sounds like the sound effects in a swimming pool, at a railway station, a science lab, a holiday hotel.
Then there are lighting effects like dawn over a Turkish sea or dusk falling over the Antarctic – and special effects like the aurora borealis in the Norwegian sky to fire flies in a fire storm: the choice is infinite in a Naturama class.

The hallmark of Naturama is its lesson plans, 1000 to date, which have not just been tried out and modified in action, but are tremendous time savers in the creative process for the Naturama Drama Teacher and they will ensure that parents and children know the quality and content to expect in classes anywhere in the world. This does not exclude teachers learning the winning combination and creating their own lesson plans along similar guidelines. Lesson plans have been devised over a fifteen year period.
